Healthy Horse Hemp Extract is a full spectrum product made by CO2 extraction. This means that the active components are accompanied by related important factors which make the product more effective than an isolate only product. This is a hemp based product. Hence, less than 0.3% THC. As such, there should be no intoxicating effects.

DOSING:
Serving size 1ml = 100mg CBD
Dose with 100-300mg – use once or twice daily, as needed or recommended by a veterinarian.
Please note: one dropper contains 100 mg Full Spectrum hemp CBD.
During the first few weeks, we recommend you start with 100mg, 1 dropper, and monitor your horse’s response and determine optimal dose. Optimal doses can vary from horse to horse. You can give 1-3ml depending on the circumstances and horse.

My Polish Arab senior improved greatly with 10 drops of Healthy Horse for discomfort and lethargy. While her problems still progressed which is expected, she was much more active and engaged with Peak Therapeutics Healthy Horse CBD. The effect was noticeable within a couple doses and I even tried discontinuing a couple times to see the difference. She definitely did better on CBD.
I also used it in my geriatric minis with severe mobility and aging concerns and saw similar results.
I now give it to all three of my adult horses for support and wellness. With my young mare who has some eyec louding, I feel it’s important to help minimize irritation and promote balance in her system.
I do notice a calming effect in my more anxious 18y Andalusian/Lusitano cross gelding and also hope it is supporting his older body and helping him sleep.
