Hard to say if it works for older cats sore hips. It does make his coarse fur incredibly soft. He didn’t mind the taste, until after his first dose. He vomited a lot after his first time taking it. And then refused it every time after. I lowered the dose and mixed it into his soft food.. but had to use a lot of canned food to cover the smell and he would finally take it. Seemed like he would get playful after his doses, so it must have helped some.

I use this for my small breed dog mainly because the dog version has been sold out- I just equated his dose for this version, he is old and has hip issues, it seems to work for him, and help him a lot, I had to up his dose recently but you can tell when it hits him, he starts to act more like a puppy again and be very playful
